Antics of Customariness
Antics of Customariness
They call it custom and tradition,
Putting us in right and sacrosanct direction.
Beat it, you suffer.
Women cried and cried
Being raped by such custom
Inherited, seen as a moveable property.
Sleeping with our dead husbands bodies
Giving lap dance to our deceased husbands brothers
Contract, not our duty.
But lucky us, this generation gave us go ahead for it.
The law of inheritance denied us
right to inherit our dead husband properties.
What a custom, primitive to senses.
Beat it, you suffer.
What a custom.
