Anthology poem

That to which we touch leaves print
The children we raise, impression we make
Plant a seed, deep within from darkness
Choice to live for whatever reason
Skies turn blue as much as darkness roams
Life being what you make, despite obstacles
Only finding peace when quietness exists
But not in ourselves, what is it to live life
We grow, becoming part of a world
A world built upon mortality strength
We change our souls weaken to life's expectancy
Existence to hide ourselves amongst the evil
Show me who you are, heart tells truth
A soul bound to love in itself a journey of survival
Humanity of nature, dying breed of its own
To live is to breath parallel being of one's soul
Where darkness shines a light with no switch
Be a soul portrayed before the faces of people
A person of integrated moral standing alone
The beast, he lives there hungering to eat
Thriving on the bitterness of the heart's pureness
I hunger with thirst, I cry out in anger
Finding myself and who I once was before the darkness
As I sat and watch the skies of cloud
I look for our future and pray in tears to the one who cares
My mind wrapped in many thoughts
It is my success I have accomplished
It is that will to survive that keeps my fight alive
It is the eye of tiger and the roar of lion I cry
That of my soul just feels like screaming
Falling to my knees and saying, Lord take me
But let not life kill me nor my thoughts I have
But make me stronger in thy ways
Love in the world is at silence with no arguing you hear
It is time that heals all wounds but time that hurts a soul lingering in blues
It is there you are as my darkness falls upon my soul in pain
Sometime in life, I used to know who I was or what life was about
It is not of our hearts we live pain and suffering
But dreams and hopes for a better tomorrow
It is that of a man's heart to which he follows
It is there we seek our true lives as we strive
That of our soul to which cries out for love
It is that of predator to which runs wild
The wolf's howl and growl as you hear the cries
It is that from within the wolf stands to survive
As without heart there would be no life
