Another Year

Santa has filled the stockings
And now is on his way
Back home to Mrs. Santa
With his big empty sleigh.
We still have one gift coming
Not brought by the reindeer.
We will share it equally,
A new unsullied year.

Wishing a year of gladness
With each day filled with glee,
To all of my dear Soup Friends,
A "Happy New Year" from me.
