Another Time Or Another Place

The time has come to say
Goodbye to my friends
Cause can I see clearly now
I finally focus my lens

I see my ship sailing away
Never got a chance to get on board
And it’s carrying a cargo
Of an alien and a chopstick with four swords

And as I stand there watching
This beauty of a ship gets out of sight
What a coward I was
To give up without a fight

Now I will build a strong fence
Around my heart with electric rail
And this time my defense
I will never let it fail

Never tell anyone how I feel
And what I am thinking too
When people knows what’s in your heart
They use that weakness to hurt you

Wonder where that beautiful ship is now
If on board there is a mutiny
Know she will not be sailing peacefully
Carrying a cargo of hypocrisy

But I will never leave this hill
Where I sit overlooking the sea
The only comfort remains
Is the shade of a lonely willow tree?

Another time or another place
Who knows what we might have seen
Another age or another race
We are what god made us just human being

An as I sat here under the tree
What a story I will have to tell
I fell in love with an angel
And my life went straight to hell
