Another sunny day -
Birds sing outside my door.
I can't hear them. It seems
I've spilled milk on the floor,
And mother loudly screams.
Another sunny day -
We learn the Golden Rule,
And go outside to play
Where bullies kindly teach
Which rules I must obey.
Another sunny day -
Boss serves donuts and says,
"At work you needn't show."
Wife kisses me and says,
"It's time for me to go."
Another sunny day -
Got my medicare card
Another stroke of luck,
'Cuz on my morning walk,
I got hit by a truck.
