Another New Year

Well, another New Year is here Another year older now I am No more food and no more beer But really, I don't give a damn The years, how they go racing by To try to catch them is a must Soon will come the day to die So, in the good lord I must trust All said and done, I do not know What really is in store for me Yet while I'm here my soul will grow With all it's wondrous mystery

first stanza; i still love to eat ;;;; beer only when my tummy starts feeling funny from the diverticulitis..and like you can not seem to slow time down or move faster... Hugs

Thank you Eve, yes we still love to eat, we mainly drink wine these days, not that we drink much of it, Peter also has Diverticulitis so he can't really drink beer, but he likes a drop of whisky every now and then Southern Comfort to be exact, hope you are all well, take care my dear friend.......Vera
