Another Kind of Freedom

i remember something
about a cool and crisp
day and the sunlight
illuminating both of us
your presence over me
like my Autumn wrap
gently on my shoulders
lightly on my back
and we spent
the day laughing
there are no cracks
in my esteem
for once...it's just safe
to be loved
