Another Hollywood Set

Another Hollywood Set What I know about England is notoriety So you must be member of some society And list of them was trying to compile For women was biscuit and men sun dial. How about lunch of biscuits in a basket Have hour glass and be sure to ask it And now wonderful self do grab hold There have one for fortunes to be told. Vibrant England even has a vestry board Dukes, duchesses and looks like a Lord Had heard about a nice, neat little boy Who they liked to call Lord Fondleroy. Who would want to fondle Roy anyway? See him ride off on horse and hear say Due to many difficulties and deep regret They went and killed my favorite pet. A fine, passing fancy it just became My horse is a man and not a dame And to heaven horses they never let Saved cadaver for another Hollywood set. James Thomas Horn, Retired Veteran
