I watched the moon at zenith height
admiring the gracefulness of her glow
Darkness lingered in stygian shadows
before Dawn awakened the sleeping sun
Another daybreak, and I am still awake

Many will share your thoughts Lin, as we get older sleep seems to evade us. I try and catch up in the afternoons sometimes.Years of shift work has screwed up my body clock. Through a telescope the moon is an amazing sight. Been following the Artemis mission. Tom PS good luck in the contest.

Dear Lin, I believe there’s a specific, heavy solitude in being the one who watches the moon surrender to the sun. I’ve spent my fair share of daybreaks waiting for the light to finally make things easier, only to realize the clarity often happens in the waiting itself. Wonderful read! Blessings, Daniel
