Another Day of Peace
There are questions we ask..
about God and this Life.
Please let me explain..
I'm just a simple Wife.
There are people who do not praise Our Father,
..but God wants us to accept..and love one another.
I want to remind you..that we are all kin.
Since God made each of us..every shade of skin.
Let us learn to accept..let us strive to forgive.
If we keep on hating..how long will we live?
If we strive in ourselves..to find inner peace.
Anger will dissipate..tensions will release.
Sometimes we have to shrug off..a shout.
When violence approaches..take another route.
Maybe one day..we will all see.
That it's fear of the unknown.
That makes us uneasy.
But with care and compassion..we can accept one another.
Learn how to say "Thank you Sister..and Brother"
As I will repeat it..and I've said it before.
We are all kin..just another color.
Could you imagine..no diversity?
If everyone looked the same..
what a dull world it would be.
Yet...
There are people who kill, fight and terrorize.
I must ask you to remember and not sympathize.
Remember the forgotten..don't pick that fight.
God says forgive..so your soul will be light.
We all get angry.. feel stress and feel lost.
When our lives are over..our children pay the cost.
The cost of losing Freedoms..we all take for granted.
I hope that we learn..and our minds expanded.
If he'll just put down that gun..and just walk away.
There won't be anything they can say.
Stop all this hatred..turn your back walk away.
So we all can live peacefully ..another day.
