Another Day

IT’S WAY TOO FAR FOR ME TO
                                                          SEE
THE NECTAR AND THE
                                        BUMBLE BEE
I DANCE AND SING AROUND THE
                                                      ROOM
WAITING AND HOPING FOR THE
                                                       NOON

WHEN
LUNCH IS SERVED
     BISCUITS AND HONEY
     CHEESE AND WINE
     FISH AND SEA WEED
     GRAPES ON THE VINE

AFTER ALL IS SAID AND DONE
I FIND THAT LUNCH IS ALWAYS FUN

TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY
TO SIT AND WAIT FOR LUNCH
AGAIN
                                         TO COME AWAY
