Anniversaire

If you’d been born in France this day
Which is as good as anywhere
It wouldn’t be called happy birthday
It will be joyeux anniversaire
But regardless of where it took place
What an occasion it must have been
Putting a smile on your mothers face
The first day that your life begin
Today is the day for cookies and cake
Candles and kisses presents and things
Maybe some stuff people will make
A necklace of beads and golden rings
Enjoy it a lot be happy and dance
Here’s a toast we wish you good cheer
Also fortunes with love and good chance
This is the end we’ll see you next year
