Annie's Sun

Annie’s Sun Today is yesterday’s tomorrow, Oh, Annie, if your song would say, Sun follows and follows and follows, Ah, but it is only a song today, This poem took its form in that yesterday, Different was this day to be, and yet, One foot barely follows another, I long for your happy hair of red. Yesterday’s hope proved futile, Though today’s hope will banish sorrow, And one day Sandy will Arf, And hope will win joy - tomorrow.

I was intrigued with this one. Sandy will arf? Sandy is a dog? Not exactly my cup of tea. (Little orphan Annie, I mean), but using the words to make up the original poem was very clever and creative! Well done my friend!....pat
