Anne of Trees
Off Anne goes flying o'er autumnal breeze
On the way becoming covered in leaves
How Anne does relish those moments of bliss
Dressed in colourful hues lovely as this.
Anne loves to view glorious autumn leaves
Gracefully twirling and whirling from trees
And the berries on boughs what’re newly formed
To feed the birds when winter becomes stormed.
Anne has admiration for leafless trees
When in winter they are devoid of leaves
Glistening with the early morning frost
Or heavy laden, snow crystal embossed.
When it’s spring again Anne will sing again
Joining in with songbirds chirpy refrain
Joy to her heart is when leaf buds appear
In spring the loveliest time of the year.
In summertime when trees are lush with leaves
And bees are busy with flowers and trees
Anne is joyous greeting her garden guests
At one with nature she feels truly blessed.
