Anger of the Wind

We Apache take owls in a storm as a warning
This owl was exceptionally fierce looking
I cringed, instantly thinking of death and destruction
I could hear the wind’s anger

Your writing is superb, Caren. No one ever wants to hear about the wind advisory because nobody can truly understand its catastrophic potential. Thanks for your uplifting comment on my poem.
