Anger and Heartbreak

I'm done crying for you,
I'm not going to make myself miserable,
And say that I need you,
Because I don't!
Now I'm angry,
I'm furious,
Because you broke my heart,
You couldn't love me,
So breaking me was your option.
I wanted to hate you,
Resent you,
And never think of you, ever...
Though I wouldn't feel better,
So there's no point to hate you.
I won't be happy if I stayed mad,
If I hold onto that grudge.
But I won't play to your level,
I won't fall into your grasp,
And cry for your pain.
The heartbreak hurts me inside,
And it burns my soul.
But I can't let you pull me down,
I can't waste my time with you,
Not anymore...
