Angels Without Wings

A friend is a cherry on top of the cake A friend is a jewel in the crown A friend always there to love and to care hearing your fears erasing your frown A friend will gently wipe your tears when you feel low when you feel down A friend when you need them can be there in a moment They may not live close or speak everyday But you know you can call them Any time come what may A friend A confidante words not repeated A friend there to listen as you bear your soul When no words are needed an embrace full of love fills you with comfort in their warm loving hug Written 25th April 2021 Friends ~ Angels without wings...
