Angels In Abundance

If a half-baked idea hits you
And knocks you as hard as
A lightning bolt,
That it feels like a megavolt,
Sit and for a while ponder,
And in amazement and awe,
You’ll discover intense wonder.
May angels surround and protect
You from harm
May they
Roam in your life and
Fly in your every dream,
He has sent them, for you
And rank high in His esteem.
A celestial hug they might
Give you to dry up any tears,
And chase away nightmares,
Or any other earthly fears.
The love with which they encompass
Is a feeling that could
Last for years,
So spread this feeling of tender love,
That you have received,
Which cannot measure
Up to any treasure,
And will give perceivable pleasure,
No doubt you were chosen
Isn’t that just wonderful,
Wake up don’t act as if frozen,
You are a master-piece He has woven,
With great joy,
He is so busy, He sends angels as envoys,
They arrive on earth in convoys,
They are commissioned to deliver
All of the above,
Overwhelming, maybe,
Have you not felt their presence before,
In your every pore?

"Wake up don’t act as if frozen, You are a master-piece He has woven, With great joy".... What sublime thoughts! Indeed we are precious pieces of art made by His thoughtful acts ! I love the idea of God, being busy sending angels as envoys to guard his precious creation ! Lovely piece Jennifer!

Jen an angel touched me on the shoulder the other day and said, "why the hell haven't you retired from your job so you can write poems full-time?" Love your poetry. Happy Holidays...........peace!

Jenny, I always love admiring your talent for using sounds and rhymes and well-placed words to enhance your message, which I find endearing over and over as you write of family, faith, and uplifting themes. I love what you say about angels and God's protection of us, sometimes known, sometimes unknown. God bless you ~ John

Apart from the Angels that carry out God's Law and order.. there are angels who live among us, cross our paths, embark into our worlds and bring a lot of peace, Love and beauty.. Beautiful souls are the angels that come into our lives for a particular reason.. they are blessings from God.. So wonderful is your poetry, angelic heart and beautiful soul dear soul sister Jenny.. an immense pleasure to read you! My deepest regards and blessings. Love and hugs.

Yes, God has prepared at least one angel to be our protector if we have or will accept Him as our Savior. It is awesome to think that we are protected when we don't even know we are. I appreciate you dropping by my page. Sara

I do exactly the same Darlene. I always say thank-you God for the slightest thing that that makes me happy, and I always think if I go to the doctor with a serious problem, I say, God I am in your hands, your will be done. For how many have passed that we know in our lifetimes, why should we pray to be saved when others, millions are in more need. Hugs and blessings and thank-you Darlene for a lovely comment. Jennifer.
