Angels Are Born

Angels are born
With life’s first breath
A blessed calling
Mistaken for death.

They come into our life
For just a moment or more
To sing us a song
And teach us how to soar.

From young to old
And somewhere in between
They carry a purpose
Not so easily seen.

Their love has no limits
With courage from the heart
A treasure of inspiration
Not found on any chart.

They embrace life
With the warmth of the sun
Leaving us with a smile
When the day is done.

Angels are born
With a special power
Leaving us a memory
That blossoms like a flower.
