Angel Tears

The rain thunders from the sky,

So hard you can barely see.

If rain is just the angels that cry,

Then very sad they must be,

For those tears are flowing free.

This is a fine example of a quintain. Right now, the snow is falling from the sky so hard I can barely see.

What a poignant quintain, Francine! Thinking of rain as tears from heaven has occurred to me before. Seems whenever a dear loved one dies, there is rain at the cemetery. Just beautiful! Love, Carolyn
