Angel Held My Hand

One day it was completely fast and free In the past I can definitely remember and see We were on our way home from school My friends and I were in an accident, how cruel I was severely injured, but by my heavenly angel My life was spared, which was a miracle But I suffered a partially paralyzed right arm This makes it harder doing simple tasks, which brought me alarm From this tragic event that has transpired I learned magic, I learned how to write hot wired And my mind was reprogrammed desiring poetry So I wrote on and on, rehabilitating myself as you see This saving grace is all from an angel’s glory grand She came to me right before the accident, holding my hand Russell Sivey Entrant into Gail Doyle's "Touched By An Angel" contest 3/17/2012

You did the topic well, Russell. Were you the one here who told me you had a bad arm? I had forgotten. In that case, this would be a true poem and WHAT a story it makes!! I don't want for you to have a bad arm, but is it true? By the way, spell the word in line six as spared. Luv, Andrea
