Angel Falls, Any Country

* Angel Falls! Is a fictitious name for a city. It has nothing to do with angels. * Do you ever wonder who you are? Perchance a being , with the heart of a star? Who in the world are we anyway? Stumbling on this human pathway! Thinking we are gods with pens, telling each other what to do, where and when. To all this, I say ,Amen! I have done all of this, too and more. As if one can buy respect or love in a poetry store! Sought the applause of the poet crowd. In the end, you get in your back, a nice, sharp sword. I am sure poets have experienced this angst throughout history. Forgetting, “the other” is far more important and signicant than we. It is simply a fact, I wake to now and then. What good can I do for another, besides impressing them with an inglorious pen. Our mortal ends do come sooner, alas, than we think. I am certain there is far more to do , than pen, with my dull, insipid ink! 9/23/2021

Greetings, Elena. I almost said...Have a good weekend? Weekends are meaningless . It is what we do each day that counts. And I do mean those last two lines!! Tons of Aristotles walk this planet, who make as much sense as Daffy Duck. We are drunk on our own thoughts....heh heh, one needs to meet with a Master in the road ... Thank you...Panagiota

Panagiota, It takes a special pen dipped in the heart's ink to know where one comes from, and is headed to. I read your poems to friends and coworkers, both sides, left and right. They recognize, as I, so many have the ring of truth. -Richard

Golly, Richard! I am moved that you share them with others. Thank you... Wow. I question my writing, often! A request...of you. I see you missed the one on Eurydice. It is romanticism, not in the division of romantic..I am disappointed in the read count. You can soup me another title...that was such a difficult write. Panagiota

Hang in there, Pangie; as with individuals who have had difficulties, history seems to say that, exalted nations sometimes fall to rock-bottom, before rising again to even greater glory. I will never give up entirely on the Blessed Spirit of our nation, and its good people. Even with the present lunatics in power.

Prince de Mino, LOL. Better pray.,,I mean a lot! We might believe in the CONSTITUION, and rights, but many selling out to Marxism. And worse, they do not know it. Freebie silliness, no churches and recreating history! Propoganda everywhere..,shades of Hitler. But, Joe, they can kill me first. Let all here know, I submit to no tyranny, lies or craziness. Panagiota xx
