Angel Eyes -

My sea aqua eyes, Your ataraxes,
tides that take You cool deep,
to where love be balm
upon heavy heaving breast...

I hold You when Night sparkles silent,
rose comb braiding Your hair,
You smile with satisfaction, calm sweet,

Unviolated by nightmares dark rude,
Your eyelashes ease soft,
My fingertips follow smooth beauty hue...

Romance which is selfless and so beautiful through poetry like this ~ your poem is stunning. And I absolutely love the rhymes too and the cadence which is so very captivating! "to where love be balm" is dreamy. Pleasure reading you today ~ thank you for also supporting my poems...sending you light today and always.

Dear Justin, This is such a beautiful poem. You sure do have a way with romance and love that sounds very nurturing and soothing. Aqua eyes, reminds me of the ocean. And how youv mentioned easing whoever she is ~ her fears and so much more is just so soul warming to read. .. and your alliterations are so subtle and flows so smoothly, never forced, just seamless, i really love the line "rose comb braiding Your hair" thats a brilliant metaphor and such amorous imagery. I can only appreciate such ~

If love is not nurturing, then it's just base satisfaction Poetess...We force not Inspiration, we must experience It to be true Poets. The ocean, yes , that body of water that opines One's desires. Your support means the world to Me Poetess, thank you...J.A.B.
