Angel
Look into the face of your angel.
See her reflection in the pool
of your spirit.
Linger with her there - let her waters cool you.
Let her voice guide and calm you.
Look into the face of your angel.
Drift on her feathered wings and join in
the chorus of her song - sing along.
Float high above the clouds of
matter, and matter more.
Look into the face of your angel.
Deep in the well of your soul -
feel her there. Swim in blissful tranquility.
Rest a while languishing in
the shared and sacred solitude.
Look into the face of your angel.
Trace the lines of her visage
and touch the moistness of her
luscious lips -
The glass of the mirror is cold!
She is you. Within you.
Without of you. Spirit made matter -
to matter. A unity of belonging.
A home for the soul and a garden
of peace. I saw her all along, sang her song.
