And they may say

And they may ask: ‘What is it about the night?’ ‘What calms your mind in darkness that you can’t find in the light?’ ‘What feelings does it suppress or what need does it ignite?’ ‘The aura around you now feeds off darkness, isn’t that right?’ And they may say: The flowers bloom in the day. Blue sky or cloudy rain is yours to see and feel anyway. Sunlight exposes the cracks in the smile that life breaks everyday. Hiding in darkness is not the way. And they may see: The struggle and the fight. To see the glow of light behind the curtains as dawn drives away the night. Where darkness lives, it takes a hold and it won’t let go without a fight. Where darkness lives inside a broken soul whose eyes reflect the night.
