And Then I Opened That Door
We had heard stories relating to those years
Inquisitive young minds we were, guessing so bold
Told of images so alien that would scare our inner fears
As a young boy growing up, answers we were never told
Going through college, working hard reaching University
Aeronautical Science my quest, my graduation achieved
Boeing to Northrop, the B-2's stealth was down to me
I'm now with the USAF, Edwards Air Force Base received
Now I'm where I am, thinking back to those years ago
Inquisitive young minds we were, guessing so bold
Clearance I have, for inside me desires to know
Maybe it's about time, that our nation should be told
I'm in area 51, and then I opened that door
The stories I now see true, they've been to our shores
