Intriguing ,enjoyable poem with laudable imagery about generations I think and their responsible deeds as step-by-step, is to be learn from sad experience till joy and love of life and power enduring it. Your puns (playing on words ) are admirable. Each metaphor , synecdoche and metonymy are enjoyable and ask for a moment of concentration (knitting the brows and wrinkles-places where actually, it should have been only smiles. Wow!Hot potato in mouth and thorns in feet. Golden poem.
