And Instead of Being Sweet
Get angry sometime,
don't hold it inside...
and instead of being sweet,
slap me hard in the face
to make me feel disgrace!.
My intentions were bad,
I have put you aside
more than once,
neglecting your needs;
you cried and were afraid:
I was having so much fun,
you were shedding painful tears:
you longed for the brightest sun!
Chase me and find
the place of my cheats,
my playboy's ways
haven't changed;
and instead of being sweet,
take me back to reality:
explain to me that
I can't be running to others
and be proud of this feat...
while you wait to hold hands!
Don't be silent,
and don't allow me to cheat,
state your intent;
and instead of being sweet,
turn my temptation
into faithfulness,
boost my ambition
and make me yours!
