And Forget

I waited for you, but you never showed up. I thought of you, but it was never enough. I expected more than you could provide. I needed you to be on my side. You left me and never thought twice. You ruined my dreams, you were my vice. You were my creation, my everything. You treated me like I was nothing. Now time has gone by and it is too late. Now I sit and sigh while I wait. Now I wish to die and try to forgive, ……………….and forget.
