And Darkness Falls

And here darkness falls. You can see land, but hazy. People said to go crazy. Insane bang on walls. Hospital full to the max. I hope no one you know cracks. Some turn to werewolf. The town locks up for the night. Afraid of a vampire's bite. Some disappear, poof. The prey become hunters here. Things that lurk can smell your fear. Wait for the sunrise. If you can survive that long. The ones who live are the strong. That night close your eyes. Nasferatu rules shadows. No one says it, everyone knows. **By Chris Matt, 10-15-2011** ***For Russel Sivey's contest, “What happens during a full moon?”***

I love the direction you took with this one, focusing on those dark aspects of when darkness falls. Sure to do well!
