Anatomy of a Dream
The night has recruited
All of its darkness to swim
Through the eyes of those ones
Who might dream in their storybook
Land of the past and the present right
Into a sequence of awesome bright future
Tonight when you drift off
Just let yourself venture to far
Away places,to lovers and strangers
To answers and questions not all of your
Making but still you will ponder as you storm
Through the tempest and the golden theatrics
What keeps us all dreaming
Why some see their visions in
Flashes of moon shaft and some
In a palette of vivid bright colors that
Rival a rainbow but still you will know that
The daylight's approaching as quick as an eye blink
