Anacreontic Destruction
Justification,
I have not a bit.
Infatuation,
led me down the path!
She consumed my thoughts.
Powerless was I,
a husk of a man,
Crushed by desire,
unsure of myself.
Perhaps I'm a fool,
falling in lust
with such a strange girl.
Intoxicating,
mesmerizing eyes!
Long flowing black hair.
I lived in pleasure,
took too many risks!
I stood at the brink,
where death awaited.
Need held me in place,
the curse of wanting.
A glint in her eyes,
as knife plunged deeply.
All that had been mine,
now belonged to him!
I fell off the cliff,
free from her at last!
