An Unfriendly Neighbor

i ran
a   c   r   o   s   s
a neighbor's flat
just to borrow
some sugar,
in return,
i got served
too much salt;
ouch,
not the flavor 
i was expecting!
i guess he's not
the salt
of the earth?
