Notes About The Poem

As Long As I See The Sky Poetry Contest

Ozone protects life on Earth from the Sun’s ultraviolet (UV) radiation. In the lower atmosphere (the troposphere) near the Earth’s surface, ozone layer is created by chemical reactions between air pollutants from vehicle exhaust, gasoline vapors, and other emissions. At ground level, high concentrations of ozone are toxic to people and plants.

We need more people to get behind this, sleep walking into oblivion is not helping. Poetry doesn’t have the power it once had to create change but every little helps. Keep up the good work. Take care, Richard

Ty, Richard I agree with you, not long-ago people thought art had the power to change. Naive? We are lucky to have the tools at our disposal to do the research! ~hugs, Anaya

Dear Anaya, Yes, so truthful and full of life, for without the ozone, we will cease to exist. I loved your well-inked Monoku! Autumn Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Dear sweet anaya, you have a very deep and intellectual way of writing which i truly admire and appreciate, i loved reading this, once again, i am reminded of how you care and think and feel for all, and how when you see the sky, you are also grateful for what protects us, such as ozone layer, and how nature looks out for us more than sometimes we pause to appreciate: thank you for the reminder! Best wishes and sending you light alwaysss

Ty, Ink. It was another opportunity to express my concern for our gem of the earth and sky and us! Nasa has answers and we are looked after by atmospheric research. It's good to know that you are aware of the elements and are thankful that nature protects as much-needed. Smiles
