An Omni Mouse

Isn't it nice
To be a mouse?
Tiptoeing around
Throughout the house.

Nobody pays
Any attention there,
If you are noticed,
Scurry under a chair.

Your mortal foe,
The dreaded cat,
Pays you no mind
As he is too fat.

Coming and going,
Just as you please
Careful the snap
Getting your cheese.

"Yes life of a mouse
Is much like a dream."
I reflected as
The trap choked my scream.
