I am so happy to say that although almost extinct (I think) we have some that come out here in the woods during firefly season. Thank you for your comment. I loved them as a child and even more, now. I hope they multiply!

Yes Dane Ann...older women have a spark in their eyes...one can see, if you hold their glance but a second longer! Cool poem! jim
