An Ode To Time Who Heals All Wounds
Times have changed,
And I still think of you.
We are not the same -
We never have been.
Yet these thoughts trickle inside of me
Pooling
Towards the desire.
Oh, how I miss the days of heartbreak.
At least then there was passion.
I miss when my heart was utterly broken.
Each beating shard that gleamed
From the light of my tears
That soaked into my every breath -
They were cured with passion.
Now times have changed.
The essence of your being was refunded.
Who once conformed has now rebelled.
Quite frankly -
You're not even f***able anymore.
And yet -
I still think of you.
What voodoo, what magic
That you do in malice
To have me this way?
Far away,
The years have gone.
Passed away, that person - gone.
The memory so pure
Of the being you were.
You exist only in mind -
Where I think of you.
