An Ode to my Beard

I kinda suspect that this will sound weird,
but my favored body part is my beard!
My salt-and-pepper face
never looks out of place!
It's been twenty years since it premiered!

Not crazy about beards but sure do like your poem. I believe it's a limerick, right? The beat is nearly that of a limerick. Great job and congrats.

Thank you, Andrea. It is indeed a limerick. The first and second lines have 10 syllables each and the last line has 9, so it still qualifies as a limerick. Interestingly, I found that the last line flowed better with 9 syllables instead of 10. Kinda funny how that turned out. Thanks for the placement. Take care. Jim
