An Invitation From the Bridegroom

An Invitation from the Bridegroom Blue was my favorite color until I met you. Deep in the shadows, I cowered, immersed in darkened hue, devoured. Blinding bright, white is the light you cast into my room. Freedom from judgment you gave me, Pious stands the bridegroom, To save me. Red as blood, black as pain was the ransom you paid. You cried, hung, and died sadly, And washed my sins away, Gladly. A joyful rainbow now illuminates my heart. Thanks to your undying love, My life canvas becomes art, from above. by, Martin Braun 1/29/2018
