An Innocent Wish

"What wish would you ask your fairy godmother?", asked I. "I would ask her to turn me into the cell phone in my mother's hand", a 6-year old's innocent reply.

In my childhood we had very little, and yet we were happy. Our life was simple and uncomplicated...it did not depend on technology as it does now. What a pity that family members hardly find time to communicate! ~ Regards // paul

Now that is something worth for that poor kid. I do wish people would keep their phones down for a minute and look about and smile at each other... nice work :)

Insightful and a little poem with real impact! I feel sorry for kids today whose parent(s) are more connected to their phones/computers than they are to their own children. :(

LOL!! I'm not the mother and she's not my child. That's just a write that flowed out of what I am seeing these days. I will surely let all of you at P.S know when I'm getting married. I am eager to see what kind of motherhood I would experience because even I'm addicted to P.S. Hugs Jennifer. I'm sure you don't neglect your family. Don't worry about that. :D

Ah, this is so worrisome because of the magnificence in the truth of it. I hope everyone is listening.

It's so painful to see everyone in the house right from a one year old clinging on to gadgets. I guess after a few days, people use the technology of virtual reality to see each other. Beautiful childhood is being buried behind the curtains of advancing technology. :(
