Broken glass, mosaic Stomach chills Grasp the truth Shallow becomes deep Emotions stir with tender assault Pale poker face The serpent's greed lacking purpose creates anxiety and harbors anger for revenge The tongue is split I read your eyes detailed Time will be the judge an boiling pot - core of soul

Anne-Lise, I think you capture the unease we feel when our heart tells us what is being presented is not true. I like giving the benefit of the doubt, but that doesn't always work out. As you say, time is indeed a great judge.

Anne-Lise, hi my friend, an imposter would posses all of what you have so perfectly described, all of these traits, an untrue, individual, an imposter who stands before you to scare and confuse you,to lie to you and to create havoc in your life. Tell him to shoo, shoo away. love and blessings, Jennifer.

Wow. Wondering where this one came from? Unusual for you, my sweet friend. expressions of angst with silent reflections on the most distant emotions, flowing with emotions. God bless you sweetheart, love, Gina

Indeed!~ windows to the soul...to truth. I have a philosophy: if I have to convince myself, bend over backwards finding reasons when making a determination...then, it is probably wrong. Truth is self-evident. Truth needs no affirmation beyond its presence. Excellent write!

Your poem read like a beautiful mosaic with outstanding imagery, not easily accomplished in short lines. You did an outstanding job, though. Your poem truly is exquisite and creative. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Sara
