An Existential Curiosity
An existential curiosity,
A question deep and true,
A desire to understand,
The purpose of it all,
Why are we here,
On this vast and wondrous earth,
What is our place,
In this vast and endless universe,
Are we just a fleeting moment,
A cosmic accident,
Or is there some grand design,
A reason for our existence,
These questions haunt us,
As we go about our days,
Searching for answers,
In the most unexpected ways,
But perhaps it's not the answer,
That we're meant to find,
Perhaps it's the journey,
The search for truth that's defined,
So let us embrace our curiosity,
And all that it entails,
For in the seeking of truth,
We find meaning and we find value,
And in that, perhaps,
We find the purpose,
Of this thing called life,
Our own existential curiosity.
