An End Reached

An end - reached

An end is in sight, it has finally been reached.
Throughout the journey, much was preached.

Back to the beginning, when stories where first told.
Many are far to exposing, are much to bold.

Telling stories of other souls, got some attention.
Telling stories of mine, as well, got some mention.

In the end, one comes to realize, the soul, the spirit
that came to the fore, opened a door, but nothing fit.

A long five years, delving into buried history
opened eyes to, once upon a time, that was the story.

All the stories believed, perceived, brought to light.
All the stories lived, insight did give, slipped out of sight.

Given wings once again, now to take a final flight.
All that lay before, exposed, wrong or right

will, more than likely, go down in silent flames
as one, wordlessly, comes to the end of the games.

It has been an interesting and rewarding journey.
Time to be laid to rest, creativity laid upon a gurney.

Carried off into that great and glorious ether
where all becomes as one, as you and I either

share in the common cause, or go our separate ways,
to make the best out of what are our remaining days.

This is a very recent work, sire. Are you saying all those early writings have already been exhausted and therefore you have no more to post unless you write a new one? A fine reflective write, sire. Hope you have a great week! Hugs and smiles! Kim

Never the less, at the behest of a young Asian Lady, working at the place I was taking computer lessons ( 2009 ) – who read something I had just written to Xiao Ling, - and was instrumental in setting up my blog May 1st 2009, and at the suggestion and help of Mark Norton ( my neighbour ) who was and is on poetrysoup, I started posting my stuff on November 22nd 2012. All this my Dear, took me out of the private domain of my little world and placed the essence of me on the world stage for a brief moment. I thank you Kim, for all your visits to my plays and for all your comments, as I do every one else who has taken the time and effort, - THANK YOU ALL !!! – but I think that the play has run its course and it is time to bring the curtain down. So now Kim, it is back to living life to the fullest, experiencing every moment and sucking the life out of them, living life with all its intrigues, all it’s joys, all it’s heart aches and like a great many writers, lyricists, to busy living the good times to write about them, and like a great many writers, lyricists, reflecting upon the sad times and in a cathartic fashion - that what we write about. For me Kim, most of my stuff was written as a letters and sent or given personally to the person the subject was about. Some acknowledged a truth in my analysis of our involvement and some did not. None of what I had written to these individuals, was it ever a thought of mine, to bring our adventures into this forum of expression.
