Notes About The Poem

Instead of calling them a wake of buzzards,

I'm calling them an ego of buzzards

because they're not cuddly and seem  pretty cocky.

An Ego of Buzzards

We share the same god and the same Son
Share a yearning to love and be loved
But when egos collide
the innocent will die
and buzzards will be dining on dove
