An earnest young student of Greek
Raised his hand in class so to speak. 
  The professor replied
 “I wouldn’t advise.
After all, you’ve been dead for a week!”

Thanks. Although I was going for an "Edward Gorey" style limerick, (in which the student actually IS dead).
