An Earnest Prayer

Lord, help me be who you made me to be, To be true to myself as well as to others Help me see the value of every individual, To live peaceably with sisters and brothers. Lord, may I be a light to those in darkness Shining out, a witness to your love and grace, Not afraid to share the victories of my life Knowing you entrusted me with this space. Lord, help me make a difference where I am, For I long to make your world a better place Yet I know my influence is most felt at home Where I learned the moral truths to embrace. Lord, when I have accomplished all I can do Please take me home to be forever with you.

Loved this heartfelt Prayer Sonnet, Milt. A FAV for me. You took the words right out of my mouth. I'm with you with each word of this earnest prayer. God bless and keep you, my brother. Bill

Yes, and while I'm here, I just want to be authentic. You have that quality, Caren...authenticity.
