An Attitude of Gratitude
Drilling deep down into my soul
Emphasizing on Gratitude now my attitude
We hold the gift of Life in our hands
To go back into the Givers hands.
Two eyes we open as gifts everyday
Two ears to listen beyond words
A mouth to voice for thoughts release.
In this give and take world, a reality
Seeking opportunity in wisdom understanding
and humility.
Saying Thank you before I receive
For love kindness mercy and peace.
Mindful of my dreams to never settle until I do.
Mental strength to cope till hard times decrease.
Choosing to be that person for someone else
Making a dent with good intent
Even if the gesture is very small.
Reminding myself over and over again
How to build a foundation on trust
Of time’s determined dust.
