An Artist and a Poet

They say I'm not an artist
That I'm just a poet.

And so I tell them
I'm an artist in disguise.

I write the letters
And while they read my works

I paint them in their minds.

I'm an artist and a poet. I'm everything in between.

I am totally in agreement with you, Hans. Artists come in many forms and work in many genre's...some we don't even know we have the skill to create. A poet IS an artist. Nicely written.
