An Angel Fell From a Garden

I walk around your garden
among flowers and fruits,
under the Summer rain.
I walk alone and alone I think
of the seeds you planted
and the birds you don't see...
Because you built this garden
stones and fountains
roses, carnations, sunflowers
in the midst of Spring.
Golden blocks to lead the way
tall, fructiferous trees,
tall, impervious iron gates...
You built this whole garden
then left me
nevertheless, here I stayed.

Your words are beautiful, Morgana, but so sad. Memories, like gardens, can bring us peace and hope. Thank for sharing and best of luck in the contest! Blessings, Rhonda xx
