An Amethyst Remembrance

So,impassioned,my heart instantaneously was captured.
By your dark moonlit, emerald eyes, with one gaze,
I was magically....enraptured!

Later, intoxicated by your hot,burning crimson lips.
Your hands electrified,me when they drew me to
Your oh so tempestuous hips!

I am a poetess, certainly am not drawn to intellectuality.
Love, intimacy and desiring souls only, most surely
Do set my spirit free!

There is no trophy to win,as love’s blessings are the best.
Joy, happiness, love and just being with you was...
My forever, glowing, amethyst remembrance!

While a lot of thought, intelligence often goes into a poem, folks who write poetry are also creatures of enormous feeling -- and we need both for fulfillment.
